Joshua Hanks is an experienced professional with a strong background in product management and project coordination. Currently serving as a Group Product Manager at Medici Land Governance Inc. since May 2020, Joshua has effectively collaborated with stakeholders to establish strategic product roadmaps. Previous experience includes key roles at Prestige Financial Services, where Joshua enhanced customer experience and coordinated business-IT solutions. As a Micro-Finance Operations Intern in Uganda, Joshua contributed to small business development through workshops and loan facilitation. Additionally, Joshua has held positions in client relations and operations, demonstrating a consistent commitment to process improvement and customer satisfaction. Joshua earned a Bachelor’s degree in International Business from the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business.

Medici Land Governance was founded in 2018 as a public benefit corporation to put the power of property ownership and equity into the hands of individuals. We leverage blockchain and other technologies (such as machine learning, cryptographic and reporting systems, verifiable claims, etc.) modernize land governance, titling, and administration with a secure public record of land ownership. Land records stored on the blockchain make land ownership transparent, secure, verifiable, and recognizable by local and global economies. Blockchain applied to land improves lives, stimulates economies, and strengthens communities. MLG supports agencies in the digitization of their current records, engendering trust and security in data by diminishing human error and accidental damage to records. MLG products include Blockchain-based Land Registration and Administration, Systematic Land Titling, Geographic Information Systems, Land Valuation and Taxation. Using MLG products, governments can more effectively administer land records, enforce property rights, generate revenue, and support functioning property markets.
