Mingzhu Zhang

Mingzhu Zhang has several years of work experience in various roles within the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. They began their career as a Postdoctoral Fellow at The Scripps Research Institute before moving on to Vanderbilt University as a Postdoctoral Fellow. They then worked as a Staff Scientist at DuPont Pharmaceuticals and as a Scientist II at Neurocrine Biosciences Inc. Mingzhu joined Shanghai Medicilon Inc. and held several positions including Director, VP of Business Development, and eventually Vice President and Head of US Business Development. They also served as President and Executive Vice President at SABPA. Overall, Mingzhu Zhang has a diverse background and a strong focus on business development and leadership in the biotech industry.

Mingzhu Zhang completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Organic Chemistry at Wuhan University from 1983 to 1987. Following this, they pursued a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry at the Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry from 1987 to 1995. After completing their Ph.D., they then engaged in postdoctoral research in Peptide Chemistry at the Scripps Research Institute from 1995 to 1996. Lastly, from 1996 to 1998, Mingzhu Zhang pursued a second postdoctoral position in Nucleotide Chemistry at Vanderbilt University.
