Juliana Maynard has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and companies. Their most recent role is as the Director of Operations and Engagement at NPIP, where they started in October 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Medicines Discovery Catapult as the Head of Translational Imaging, starting in March 2022. Juliana also served as the Lead Scientist - Pre Clinical Imaging at the same company from March 2019 to March 2022. Before that, Juliana held the position of Head of Imaging Services at Alderley Imaging from March 2016 to March 2022. Juliana has also worked at AstraZeneca as an Associate Principle Scientist from 2014 to 2016, and as a Senior Research Scientist from 2007 to 2014. Juliana's earlier experiences include working as a Research Scientist at the Paterson Institute for Cancer Research from 2006 to 2007, and as a Research Scientist at Quintiles from 2002 to 2003.
Juliana Maynard earned a Bachelor of Science Hons in Physiology from the University of St Andrews from 1998 to 2002. Juliana then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Neuroendocrinology from The University of Edinburgh from 2003 to 2006.
