Sinéad Mccormack

Sinead McCormack has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Sinead currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Medicines Discovery Catapult, a position they have held since March 2022. Prior to this, they worked at the University of Manchester as the Head of Faculty Finance for the Faculty of Biology, Medicine and Health from July 2019 to March 2022. Before that, they were the Head of Finance - UK at Hoist Finance from December 2017 to July 2019.

Sinead'sprevious roles include Senior Manager of Financial Control and Reporting at the Bank of England from November 2014 to November 2017, Vice President of Finance Operations at Barclays UK Retail and Business Bank from September 2008 to November 2014, and Assistant Financial Controller at AIG from June 2005 to September 2008. Sinead also worked as a Financial Accountant at Aspect Capital from an unspecified date in 2003 to 2005 and as a Trustee at PFPC Trustee and Custodial from an unspecified date in 1999 to 2002.

Sinead McCormack obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Accounting and Finance from the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants in 2001-2002. Prior to that, they pursued a degree in Accounting and Finance at the Technological University of the Shannon, Athlone Campus from 1996 to 2001.
