Jose Medina-Bairan, MD, is a distinguished medical professional with extensive experience in various specialties, including Pulmonary, Critical Care, Sleep Medicine, and Internal Medicine. As a co-founder of Medicus Digital Clinic, the first digital multispecialty medical clinic with Latin-American physicians in the USA, Jose aims to serve the Latin American community. Jose has owned a private practice at Maranatha Medical Plaza since 1995 and founded MedSter Research, LLC in 2022. Additionally, Jose has been the owner of the REM Sleep Diagnostics & Research Center since 2006, an accredited sleep center recognized by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. Previous experience includes serving as an Attending Physician at several hospitals in New York City. Jose completed fellowships in Critical Care and Pulmonary Medicine at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University and holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from Universidad Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña.
