David Dummermuth

David Dummermuth, CPA, currently serves as the Director of Corporate Tax at Medifast, Inc., overseeing the tax team's operations related to domestic and international income tax matters since March 2021. Prior to this role, Dummermuth was Interim Tax Director at Medifast, managing significant tax processes and compliance. Earlier in 2021, Dummermuth provided tax consultation at Hostess Brands, focusing on international tax issues. Dummermuth has extensive experience from KPMG LLP as a Tax Managing Director, where risk identification and tax planning for clients were key responsibilities, and from Arthur Andersen LLP as a Senior Tax Associate, coordinating multinational tax projects. Dummermuth holds a Master's in Accounting and Information Systems with an emphasis in Taxation, and a Bachelor of Science in Business, both from The University of Kansas.
