Satya Jonnalagadda

Satya Jonnalagadda serves as Editor-in-Chief of PATHWAYS, the quarterly newsletter for the Cardiovascular Wellness Dietetic Practice Group of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics since October 2021. Currently holding the position of Vice President for Scientific and Clinical Affairs at Medifast, Inc., Satya also contributes as an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Department of Food Science and Nutrition at the University of Minnesota since 2012. Past roles include Director of Global Nutrition Science & Innovation at Abbott Nutrition and Director of Global Nutrition Science at KERRY. Satya has experience as a managing editor for SCAN wellness and as Principal Scientist at General Mills, with earlier positions in clinical sciences at Novartis Medical Nutrition. Educational credentials feature multiple degrees in nutrition, including a PhD from Virginia Tech and an MBA from Augsburg University.
