Sheetal Chavda

Medical Director at Medigold Health

Sheetal Chavda has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning various positions in the medical field. Starting in 2005, Sheetal worked as a Foundation Year 1 & 2 at NHS-Basildon, Chase Farm, and Barnet Hospitals. In 2007, Sheetal served as a Specialty Registrar (ST1) in Acute Medicine at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust, followed by a role as a Specialty Registrar (ST1) in Oncology at University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Moving forward, Sheetal worked as a Medical Advisor at Transport for London from 2008 to 2009. Following this, from 2009 to 2011, Sheetal gained experience as a Core Trainee in Psychiatry (CT1 and CT2) at Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust. Sheetal then joined Transport for London again in 2011, initially as a Specialist Registrar ST6, then as a Consultant Occupational Physician and Manager, and finally as a Consultant and Lead Physician.

In 2019, Sheetal transitioned to working at Optima Health (OH&W) as a Consultant and Lead Physician for Rail, a role that lasted until 2020. During this time, Sheetal also worked as an Independent Consultant, fulfilling the role of an Occupational Health Physician.

In 2020, Sheetal embarked on a new journey at Health Management Ltd, where they held the title of Associate Medical Director HML / CMO for London Fire Brigade until 2023. Currently, Sheetal is working as a Medical Director at Medigold Health.

Throughout Sheetal's career, they have held various leadership and management positions and displayed expertise in occupational health, psychiatry, acute medicine, and oncology.

Sheetal Chavda holds a Master's Degree in Occupational Medicine from The University of Manchester, which they obtained from 2011 to 2014. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in Medicine from UCL from 1999 to 2005. Sheetal also completed a Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacology from UCL from 2002 to 2003.
