Eric Svetcov

CTO & CSO at Medigram

Eric Svetcov has held a variety of roles in the security and technology fields since 2008. Eric began their career as a Senior Manager at KPMG New Zealand in 2008 and then moved to Datacraft as the Asia-Pacific Incident Response and Computer Forensics Leader in 2010. In 2011, they became the Chief Security Officer, Chief Privacy Officer, Caldicott Guardian and Head of IT at MedeAnalytics Inc. where they built the Information Security function into a key differentiator and competitive advantage for the company. Eric achieved HITRUST and ISO 27001 (2013) Certification and built the security program into a positive driver for sales. In 2019, they became the CTO & CSO of Medigram, Inc., the CISO Advisor of DeepThink Health and the CISO Advisor of Acclivity Health Solutions, Inc. Eric also became the Principal of Trust in Motion LLC. In 2021, they became an Advisor for the Santa Clara University Women's Corporate Board Readiness Program, presenting on point CyberSecurity training critical to board success. In 2022, they became the CTO & CISO of Threatrix. Eric has also been a C|CISO Certification Author and EC-Council Instructor since 2013.

Eric Svetcov received their MBA in Management from Golden Gate University in 2002. Eric earned their BA in Political Science from the University of Northern Colorado in 1990. Eric attended the United States Air Force Academy from 1985 to 1989. Eric also holds several certifications, including Certified Chief Information Security Officer (CCISO) from EC-Council (2013), SABSA Chartered Security Architect - SCF from The SABSA Institute (2010), Certified in Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT) from ISACA (2010), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) from ISACA (2009), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) from ISACA (2005), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² (2005), and Certified EC-Council Instructor from EC-Council.
