Joseph Mulhearn

Joseph Mulhearn has over 20 years of experience in IT contracting, negotiating, and procurement. Joseph began their career in 1998 as the Director of Vendor and Contract Management Office at Schering-Plough (now Merck). In this role, they established the charter, strategies, goals, staffing and key measurements for the IT organization's sourcing strategy. Joseph also managed a portfolio of more than 800 IT hardware, software, telecommunications, and software agreements. In 2009, they became the Senior Director of Supplier Management and Governance and Managed Services at Merck. In this role, they led the Information Technology (IT) Global Supplier Management and the transformation to managed services. Joseph also oversaw external services spend of over $600 million annually. In 2019, they joined Externalization Enablers Group as a Principle/Consultant. Joseph provided services such as externalization strategy formulation, supplier management organizational development, sourcing strategy development and implementation, contract negotiations lifecycle advisory, supplier governance program development and implementation, service delivery process and measurement development, third-party risk management framework development and implementation, and managed services strategy development. In 2021, they joined Medigram, Inc. as the Head of Revenue. In this role, they help to lead contract negotiations leveraging their 20 years of deep IT contracting, negotiating, and procurement experience. Joseph also makes sure that customer feedback is incorporated into the product development cycle on an ongoing basis. Joseph collaborates with finance and provides team leadership across product management, business models, marketing, sales, account management, customer success & services, and end user support functions for Medigram.
