Dr. Tyler Amell has over 8 years of experience in the health and productivity space. In 2021, they joined MediKeeper, Inc. as the Chief Health and Strategy Officer, where they are responsible for developing the company's strategy and driving innovation initiatives for their next-generation wellness platform.

Since 2013, they have been the President of Dr. Tyler Amell Consulting Ltd., providing executive leadership, coaching, and solution management services to a wide range of organizations. Dr. Tyler has also been an Adjunct Faculty and Area Lead at Pacific Coast University for Workplace Health Sciences since 2018, an Executive Board Member of the Work Wellness and Disability Prevention Institute since 2019, and an Executive Board Member of the National Wellness Institute since 2019.

In 2018, Dr. Amell joined CoreHealth Technologies as an Advisor and Chief Relationship Officer and Chief Health Officer. Dr. Tyler was responsible for establishing, managing, and nurturing key client relationships within CoreHealth's ecosystem, as well as providing employer specific, conference keynotes, and presentations on a variety of topics related to health and productivity.

Dr. Tyler has also been an Executive Board Member of the College of Pedorthics of Canada since 2014, an Executive Board Member of the Canadian Association for Research on Work and Health (CARWH) since 2012, and a Member Board of Directors of the Integrated Benefits Institute since 2017. From 2015 to 2018, they were the Vice President of Morneau Shepell, where they were responsible for the establishment and maintenance of a key relationship with the 2nd largest tier 1 Disability Carrier in the US, as well as developing and launching the US Absence Management Solutions business.

Dr. Tyler Amell obtained their PhD in Rehabilitation Medicine from the University of Alberta in 2002. Prior to that, they earned their MSc in Rehabilitation Medicine from Queen's University in 1997. Dr. Tyler completed their BSc in Health Sciences and Kinesiology from the University of Ottawa in 1995.
