Pau Morales Torrent

Pau Morales Torrent has a diverse work experience in the fields of quality assurance, automation engineering, and education. In 2016, they worked as a software developer at Beeral Games. From 2019 to 2021, they served as a part-time extracurricular teacher at Codelearn, where they taught various technology-related subjects. Pau then transitioned to the field of quality assurance, starting as a QA Automation Engineer at DXC Technology in 2021. In this role, they focused on creating, updating, and executing test cases for projects with Caixabank. Pau also took on the lead role in knowledge transfer and manual testing during a project transition from Banc Sabadell to DXC Technology. Pau continued their QA Automation Engineer career in 2022 at Plexus Tech, where they worked on an important project for Banco Santander. Their responsibilities included automating test cases and ensuring efficient and effective testing using the Cilantrum library. Currently, Pau is a QA Manager at Mediktor, a healthtech startup. In this position, they are responsible for overseeing quality assurance, managing internal and client tests, and automating test cases for web and app platforms.

Pau Morales Torrent began their education journey in 2012 when they enrolled at the IOC - Institut Obert de Catalunya, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Science & Tech. Pau successfully completed their studies at the IOC and graduated in 2014.

Afterward, Pau continued their academic pursuits at the Universitat de Barcelona from 2014 to 2022. During this period, they pursued a degree in Contenidos Digitales Interactivos, specializing in Grado en Ingeniería, Desarrollo y Creación de Videojuegos. Pau dedicated eight years to their studies at the Universitat de Barcelona, where they gained in-depth knowledge and skills in the field of interactive digital content and video game development.

In addition to their formal education, Pau has also obtained several certifications to enhance their professional skills. In September 2020, they completed the "Ciberseguridad en el Teletrabajo" course offered by Google Actívate. Furthermore, in July 2022, they acquired additional certifications, namely "Learning Selenium," "Scripting for Testers," "Selenium Essential Training," and "Test Automation Foundations" from LinkedIn.
