Anh Mayer

Anh Mayer has a diverse and extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Anh started their career at Alvarado Hospital in 2008, where they worked as a pharmacist and provided direct clinical pharmacotherapy management. Anh also responded to medical emergencies such as Code Blue and Code Stroke.

In 2012, Anh joined MedImpact Healthcare Systems, Inc. as a Formulary Operations Manager, where they managed formulary operations for various clients. Anh reviewed weekly drug updates and maintained custom formularies for Medicare Part D, Commercial, HealthCare Reform, and Medicaid clients.

In 2014, Anh transitioned to the role of Clinical Program Manager at MedImpact, where they contributed to the designing, development, and driving of the clinical components of the account team’s strategic and financial goals. Anh provided clinical consultative recommendations on drug management to lower plan's drug net cost.

In 2016, Anh took on the role of Clinical Program Manager Analyst, where they led health plan implementations with formulary design and configuration. Anh also performed clinical formulary analysis and provided guidance on transition.

Most recently, Anh served as the Principal of Formulary and Rebate Optimization at MedImpact, where they proactively identified, developed, and executed initiatives to optimize rebate yields and revenue.

Prior to their tenure at MedImpact, Anh worked as a Staff Pharmacist at Walmart from 2007 to 2014, where they managed ancillary staff and advised physicians and health practitioners on medication selections and dosages. Anh also consulted with patients on proper medication usage and home healthcare supplies.

Anh Mayer has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Human Development from UC San Diego. Anh also holds a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the Appalachian College of Pharmacy, with a field of study in Pharmacy.
