Karen McGinty

Karen McGinty started their career in 1989 as a Teacher at Olmsted Falls City Schools. Karen worked there until 1998. In 1998, they joined Media City Schools as the Principal of Garfield Elementary, and their tenure there is ongoing.

Karen McGinty has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from John Carroll University, which they obtained from 1985 to 1989. Karen later pursued a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Cleveland State University from 1992 to 1996. In 2012 to 2013, they attended Kent State University to obtain a Superintendent degree in Educational Leadership and Administration.
