Melanie Buda is an experienced educator with a strong background in early childhood education and teaching. Currently serving as a Building Substitute and 2nd Grade Long-Term Substitute at Medina City School District since March 2021, Melanie previously held roles as a Student Teacher in both a 2nd grade classroom at Ella Canavan Elementary School and a Pre-K Multi-Age classroom at Kids' Country. Additionally, Melanie was a Lead Teacher at The Goddard School, developing engaging lesson plans for toddlers. Other experiences include working as a nanny, a Development Intern at Make-A-Wish Ohio, Kentucky & Indiana, and a Practicum Student at Akron Children's Hospital. Melanie holds a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Kent State University and a Bachelor's Degree in Child and Family Studies from Ohio University.
