Pieter Willemen

Pieter Willemen is a Lead Software Engineer with experience in full-stack .NET web development. Prior to his current position at MediPortal, he worked as a Lead Software Engineer at Baloise Insurance and as a Software Engineer at 4D Vision and Planet Talent. Pieter also has a background in research, having been a Research Fellow at Ghent University where he focused on topics in Telecommunications such as LTE, WiFi, and Mobile Networks. He holds a Doctoral Program degree in Internet Based Communication Networks and Services from Ghent University, as well as a Master of Science in Intelligent Electronics and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Group T - International University College Leuven. Pieter's educational journey began at O.L.V. Lourdes - College Edegem, where he completed a program in Latin - Mathematics.
