Jennifer Barnes has over 20 years of professional experience. In 2021, they began working as a National Account Director for Mediprocity. From 2013-2021, they worked at Decorating Den Interiors, where they served as Owner and Interior Designer-Nested Interiors, Interior Designer, and Regional Marketing Director. From 2010-2013, they worked at State Farm Insurance as a Marketing Specialist and Account Executive. From 2008-2010, they worked at Lyons Printing, LLC as a Sales Executive. From 2003-2008, they worked at State Farm Insurance as a Licensed Property and Casualty Insurance Broker. From 2000-2002, they worked at Retail Brand Alliance as a Retail Sales Representative. Finally, from 2002-2003, they worked at Allegiance Telecom as an Outside Account Executive.

Jennifer Barnes received their Bachelors of Science in Business Administration and Marketing from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis. Jennifer also attended The University of Kansas and Kirkwood Sr. High School.
