Karin Stamborn-Sundmark

Karin Stamborn-Sundmark currently serves as the Sourcing Manager for the Nordics, Baltics, and UK at Mediq, leading a team in developing unified Nordic sourcing processes and implementing new CSR/ESG practices, while also actively participating in supplier negotiations for public tenders. Prior to Mediq, Karin held the position of Purchasing Manager at Nordic Room Improvement AB, overseeing strategic and operational procurement for various brands, and was responsible for building supplier relationships and developing logistics and sustainable practices. Karin's experience also includes roles as Senior Strategic Purchaser at EFG European Furniture Group AB, Logistics Manager at SENAB, and Logistics Manager at IKEA Group, where key responsibilities included managing supply chains, overseeing budgets, and leading major logistics projects. Karin holds a Master of Science in Logistic and Purchasing Management from The University of Edinburgh and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology.
