Kel Pults has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Kel served as the Chief Clinical Officer & VP, Government Strategy at MediQuant starting from 2014. In 2009, they founded KBP Healthcare Consulting, LLC and held the position of President/Founder. From 2018 to 2022, they worked as the Chief Clinical Officer at MediQuant. Previously, at MediQuant LLC, they held the roles of VP, Strategic Consulting and Client Services, and Director, Clinical Consulting. Kel also served as the Director of Consulting and Clinical Informatics at RGP Healthcare and Director, Practice Services at Anthelio Healthcare Solution, Inc. Kel Pults has extensive experience working with Siemens Medical, where they served as a Sr. Consultant and Senior Clinical Consultant. Kel began their career as a Patient Care Systems Analyst at Platte Valley Medical Center and also worked as an RN at CMSRN Medical/Surgical Pediatrics Unit.

Kel Pults holds a Doctorate in Healthcare Administration (DHA) from the University, which was earned from 2011 to 2015. Prior to that, from 2009 to 2011, Kel Pults obtained a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree from the University of Phoenix. In the period from 2006 to 2009, Kel Pults completed a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Phoenix. Before pursuing higher education, Kel Pults obtained an Associate of Applied Science degree in Nursing from Cochise College, Douglas/Sierra, from 1998 to 2000. Lastly, from 1994 to 1997, Kel Pults achieved an Associate of Science degree in Administration of Justice from the University of Hawaii, Honolulu Community College.
