Michael Allewelt has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Michael started their career at sanofi-aventis in 2006 as an Areamanager before transitioning to a Product Specialist role. Michael then joined Allewelt Cosmetics as an International Sales Manager from 2009 to 2010. In 2010, Michael joined Medtronic where they held various roles including Sales Representative, Sales Supervisor for Diabetes in the West and North Netherlands, and Business Manager for Diabetes. Michael also served as the Sales Manager for Diabetes in the Netherlands with responsibilities for a team of freelance nurses and membership in the Sales Managers Advisory Board. In 2022, Michael joined Asker Healthcare Group as the Business Development Director for Central Europe, with additional responsibilities as the General Manager of DIASHOP. In 2023, they became the Commercial Director at both Bosman and MediReva.
Michael Allewelt obtained a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences. In addition to their formal education, they have also received several certifications, including "The Leadership Transition" from INSEAD Executive Education in September 2021 and "ISAM Strategic Account Management" from Erasmus University Rotterdam in January 2015. Michael has also completed various other certifications, such as "Being a Medtronic Manager" in 2011, "Change Acceleration Process" in 2013, "Leadership Excellence through Accelerated Development (global LEAD program)" in 2016, "SPIN Selling and Coaching" in 2010, and "The Challenger Sale" from CEB in 2015.
