Mariana Marques

Mariana Marques has been working in the software engineering field since 2008. Mariana began their career as a part-time salesperson at Reis Vieira & Rodrigues. In 2012, they became an intern at Delft Dynamics BV, where they designed a L1 Adaptive Controller for multicopters using Matlab/Simulink. From 2014 to 2018, Mariana worked as a software engineer at Simteq B.V., where they designed, developed, and maintained several systems and programs for a Level D certified Boeing 737 full flight simulator. Mariana also worked as a software developer at Kojac CV during this time. Since 2018, Mariana has been working as a software engineer at SIM International B.V. and, most recently, at Medis Medical Imaging.

Mariana Marques completed their Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering at Instituto Superior Técnico from 2008 to 2011. Mariana then pursued a Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering at Delft University of Technology from 2011 to 2017. In 2010, Mariana attended Umeå University for a course in Human Spaceflight and Exploration.
