Neil Barker

Neil Barker has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Neil has been a volunteer instructor at the British Sub-Aqua Club since 2009 and has achieved Advanced Instructor status and Instructor Trainer status. Neil holds approved instructor status for various diving-related skills. In 2021, Neil joined MediSieve as a Quality Manager. Prior to that, they worked at Quanta Dialysis Technologies Ltd. as a Supplier Quality Engineer from 2020 to 2021. From 2015 to 2020, they held multiple roles at Advanced Oncotherapy plc, including Business Process Integration Manager, Quality Manager, and Engineering Process Manager. Neil was also involved with The Society of Environmental Engineers for more than 10 years, serving as Vice President and holding various positions on the Council. Neil has a long-standing work history with e2v technologies (uk) ltd. where they served as Technical Authority - Quality & Regulatory Affairs from 2010 to 2015, and as Central Quality Manager from 1989 to 2011. Before that, they worked at Croma Research Ltd. as a Production Manager and at Nevin Developments Ltd. as a Special Projects Manager.

Neil Barker attended John Watson's School in Edinburgh from 1956 to 1968, where they obtained their SCE Higher Grade in Science, Mathematics, English, and French.

Following this, they enrolled at Edinburgh Napier University from 1969 to 1973, where they pursued an HND & CEI Part 2 in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

In addition to their formal education, Neil Barker also obtained the certification of ISO13485:2016 Lead Auditor from BSI in May 2016.
