Alice V R Lake

Alice V R Lake is a Clinical Systems Analyst at Medisoft Limited since June 2023, with prior experience as a UX Researcher at Asda, focusing on user experience enhancements for ASDA's digital platforms. Alice co-founded the AgResearch Early Career Group, serving as the National Media & Comms Manager, and contributed to establishing a nationwide model for early career support within the organization. As a Postdoctoral Scientist, expertise includes small extracellular vesicles and infectious disease models, specifically regarding Mycoplasma bovis in dairy cows. Previous research roles include a Research Assistant at the University of Leeds, specializing in CRISPR/Cas9 techniques and cilia biology, along with various representative roles for early career and postgraduate researchers. Alice earned a Ph.D. in Molecular Genetics from the University of Leeds and holds an MBiolSci in Medical Genetics from the University of Sheffield.
