Anthony Haywood

Anthony Haywood has extensive work experience in the healthcare and clinical research industry. Anthony is currently serving as the Vice President of Clinical Trials Optimization at MEDiSTRAVA. Prior to this, they worked as the Executive Director of Project Management at Rho from 2021 to 2023. Anthony also held various leadership roles at IQVIA, including Head of Decentralized Trial Project Management, Senior Director of CNS Project Leadership, and Senior Director of Clinical Project Management. Before joining IQVIA, they worked at Eisai as an Associate Director and Senior Manager in Clinical Operations. Anthony also gained experience at PPD as a Senior Project Manager, Elan Pharmaceuticals as a Senior Clinical Research Scientist, GlaxoSmithKline as a Neurophysiologist, and NHS as a Medical Technical Officer in neurophysiology.

Anthony Haywood received a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Applied Biological Sciences from The Manchester Metropolitan University in the years 1995 to 1998. Prior to that, they obtained a Higher National Diploma in Medical Physics & Physiological Measurement from Leeds College of Technology, graduating in the years 1992 to 1994. Anthony'seducational journey began with a Diploma of Education in Medical Physics and Physiological Measurement from Leeds College of Technology in the years 1989 to 1992.
