Shannon Connell brings her strong legal background and MEDITECH experience to the role of Chief Governance Officer and General Counsel. Her responsibilities include overseeing MEDITECH’s legal department, staff ombudsmen, quality system for our internal processes, medical devices, regulation guidance, staffing, and staff education.
Shannon began her career at MEDITECH in 1998 as an applications consultant. She attended law school at night and later transitioned to MEDITECH’s legal department in 2005. Over the past several years, Shannon has proven herself as a valuable member of MEDITECH’s legal team and as company secretary. She leverages her varied experience to make decisions that impact many facets of the organization.
Shannon graduated from Stonehill College with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, and from Suffolk University Law School. Shannon and her husband Larry have three children, Patrick, Grace, and Jack.
