Walid Megahed

Walid Megahed has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Walid worked as the Vice President at Mediterraneo, a leading grain trading company in Egypt, where they played a key role in the company's growth and success. Prior to that, they served as the CEO & General Manager of Deals Properties & Development, overseeing the design, development, construction, and sale of residential, administrative, and commercial buildings. Walid also worked as the Supply Chain Director & Board Member at sanofi-aventis, Egypt, where they managed and controlled the complete supply chain cycle to achieve a turnover of 100 Mio Euro. Additionally, they held the position of Corporate Credit Manager at sanofi-aventis / Aventis Pharma, where they set the credit management strategy and maintained close relationships with major clients and wholesalers. Walid began their career as the Corporate Financial Accounting Manager at Hoechst Marion Roussel.

Walid Megahed completed their high school education from Maadi Canal School between 1971 and 1981, earning a High School Degree with a focus on English. After that, from 1982 to 1986, they attended Cairo University and obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Finance. In 2004, Walid pursued further education at the American Academy of Financial Management, where they acquired a certification as a Certified Credit Analyst in the field of Accounting and Finance. Later, in 2007, they enrolled at the same institution to pursue a Master Financial Controller degree, specializing in Business Administration and Management.
