Aydan Hanlon, M.S. has been working in research and development since 2021 at MediView XR, Inc. as a Research & Development Engineer. From 2017 to 2021, Hanlon worked at Cleveland Clinic as a Research Engineer and Biomedical Engineering Research Student. In this role, Hanlon managed data collection and analysis for a joint Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) grant from the National Institute of Health (NIH) in collaboration with Centerline Biomedical, and spearheaded segmentation of critical structures of human anatomy for the 1st In-Human Clinical Evaluation of a Holographic Imaging Platform for non-vascular applications, specifically in Percutaneous Thermal Ablation of Solid Liver Tumors. From 2014 to 2017, Hanlon worked at John Carroll University as a Physics Teaching Assistant, Spanish Tutor, and Media Productions Videographer. In this role, Hanlon facilitated student learning through 1-on-1 office hours and homework help, and aided in the grading process for the lecture professor.
Aydan Hanlon, M.S. attended Orchard Park High School from 2010 to 2014, where they graduated with honors. They then went on to obtain a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Physics from John Carroll University between 2014 and 2018. In 2019, Aydan began pursuing a Master's Degree in Biomedical Engineering at Cleveland State University, which they are expected to complete in 2022.
