Maya Remington

Maya Remington, MD, currently serves as the Clinical Data Science Lead and Clinical Data Scientist at Mednition since 2022. Previously, Maya was a Data Scientist at Metis, where a 14-week accredited data science bootcamp was completed, focusing on Python, SQL, and machine learning. Notable projects include investigating factors affecting COVID-19 vaccination rates and teen e-cigarette use, as well as applying natural language processing to analyze anti-vaccine sentiments on social media. Prior experience includes roles as a Medical Editor & Project Lead at SketchyMedical, Medical Consultant at Angular Medicine, and a Resident Physician at Kaiser Los Angeles Medical Center. Maya holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from the UC San Diego School of Medicine and a Bachelor of Science from UCLA.
