Mariko DeWire-Schottmiller has extensive work experience in the medical field. Mariko currently holds the position of Sr. Medical Director at Medpace, a role they started in May 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Medical Director at Medpace since November 2020.

Mariko DeWire-Schottmiller has a Bachelor of Science degree in Clinical Laboratory Science/Medical Technology/Technologist from Michigan State University, which they obtained between 1995 and 1999. Mariko then attended Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine from 2000 to 2004, where they earned their Doctor of Medicine degree. Mariko pursued their Residency in Pediatrics from 2004 to 2007 at the University of Tennessee-Health Science Center College of Medicine. Following this, they completed a Fellowship in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at the same institution from 2007 to 2010. Mariko DeWire-Schottmiller also has a Neuro-Oncology Fellowship from the University of Tennessee-Health Science Center College of Medicine, which they obtained between 2010 and 2011. Mariko is certified in General Pediatrics and Pediatric Hematology-Oncology by the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP).
