Puneet Agarwal has a diverse work experience in the medical field spanning several years. Puneet began their career at Maharishi Markandeshwar University as a Senior Resident in Respiratory Medicine and also served as a member of the Tuberculosis control program. Puneet then worked as a Freelance Consultant and Locum ICU doctor at SSPR Foundation before joining Rajiv Gandhi Super Speciality Hospital Society as a Senior Resident in Respiratory Medicine, where they played a key role in building the department. Puneet later worked at Jaypee Hospital as an Attending Consultant in Respiratory Medicine, gaining valuable clinical knowledge and skills. Puneet then pursued a Fellowship in Respiratory Medicine at NHS Grampian, where they received comprehensive training. Puneet continued their career as a General Practice Specialty Trainee at NHS Forth Valley before joining NHS Lothian as a Specialty Doctor in Respiratory Medicine. Puneet worked closely with consultants and nurses to deliver high-quality respiratory services. Puneet then joined Northern Care Alliance NHS Group as a Sub-Investigator, contributing to a major multicentric project focused on treating and supporting individuals with Long COVID. Most recently, they worked at Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Principal Investigator, overseeing the overall conduct of trials and ensuring participant safety and compliance. Puneet is currently a Medical Director at Medpace.

Puneet Agarwal completed their education as follows:

- From 2018 to 2020, they pursued an International training fellowship in Respiratory and General Medicine at the Royal College of Physicians - Edinburgh.

- Between 2012 and 2015, they earned an MD in Pulmonary Medicine from the Vallabhbhai Patel Chest Institute, University of Delhi, specializing in Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care.

- Starting in 2005 until 2011, they studied Medicine at Aligarh Muslim University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degree (MBBS).
