Ronald Scharf is an experienced executive in the medical device industry, currently serving as President and CEO of Downright Logical, Inc. since January 2017, specializing in medical device development and regulatory compliance. Scharf is also a Lead Auditor for Medpoint, LLC, accredited in ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 13485:2016 quality management systems. Previously, Scharf held significant roles such as VP of Product Development at Boston Neurosciences, Inc. and Optimum Technologies, Inc., and Chief Technology Officer at Avedro, Inc. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg, and an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley.
