Tracie Deison

Underwriter - Large Accounts at MedPro Group

Tracie Deison has extensive experience in the insurance industry, with a focus on medical malpractice insurance. Tracie began their career as an Underwriting Assistant at Houston Casualty Company in 1993 and worked there until 1995. From 1995 to 2000, they served as an Assistant Vice President at Healthcare Insurance Services, where they quickly advanced to the role and managed a department of 9 employees. Tracie then worked at Frost Insurance Agency as an Account Manager from 2000 to 2001.

In 2001, they joined American Physicians Insurance Company (API) as an Underwriter, responsible for medical professional liability insurance. Tracie handled accounts of varying sizes, ranging from single physicians to large groups. Tracie held this role until 2005 when they joined Advocate, MD Insurance of the Southwest Inc. as a Senior Underwriter. At Advocate, MD, they analyzed medical malpractice insurance applications and renewals and managed various aspects of assigned business. Advocate, MD was later acquired by The Doctors Company in 2011, where Tracie continued to work until 2013.
