Denise Spillane

SVP, Marketing at Medrio

Denise Spillane has a diverse background in marketing, with experience in various leadership roles. Denise is currently the SVP of Marketing at Medrio since April 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Vice President of Marketing at MatrixCare from July 2021 to March 2022.

From 2018 to 2021, Denise worked at WebMD, initially as the VP of Marketing for Krames, a business unit acquired by Internet Brands/WebMD. Denise then transitioned to become the SVP of Marketing and Communications at StayWell, which was later acquired by Internet Brands/WebMD.

Before joining WebMD, Denise was the Vice President of Marketing at NextGen Healthcare in 2017. Denise also held various roles at Aramark, including Vice President of Marketing for Healthcare Technologies and Facilities from 2011 to 2017, and Director of Marketing Communications for Healthcare from 2007 to 2011.

Earlier in their career, Denise worked as the Marketing & Public Relations Officer at Quincy Medical Center from 2002 to 2007, and as an Assistant Account Executive at Trinity Marketing and Consulting from 2000 to 2002.

Denise Spillane's education history includes a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Widener University, a Master's Degree in Integrated Marketing Communications from Emerson College, a Bachelor's Degree in Communication Arts from Framingham State University, and a Content Marketing Certificate from Rutgers Business School.

In addition to their formal education, Denise has obtained several certifications, including the HubSpot Email Marketing Certified from HubSpot Academy, the Launch, PMC Level V, Price, Build, and Focus certifications from Pragmatic Institute, and the Fellow - American College of Healthcare Executives from the American College of Healthcare Executives.
