In this role, they developed and implemented a strategic plan to achieve a $1 million annual revenue goal, and achieved a cost-saving of 42% through efficient spending in medical supplies and contracted services.
Mandana also had earlier work experiences at Sony Music Entertainment, Zambia Emory HIV Research Project, American Lung Association of Washington, and American Lung Association of Texas. At these organizations, they held positions such as Summer Market Research Associate, Summer Research Intern, Program Manager, and Program Manager, respectively, where they contributed to market research, HIV research, and implemented and evaluated statewide tobacco control programs.

Mandana Varahrami earned a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) degree from The University of Texas at Austin between 1996 and 1998. Prior to that, between 1994 and 1996, they attended Northwestern University. Later, from 2003 to 2005, they pursued a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree with a focus on Global Health at Emory University. Lastly, from 2005 to 2007, they attended Emory University's Goizueta Business School, where they earned their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance.
