Dr. Mehta is the founder of [MedSchoolCoach](/org/medschoolcoach) and nationally known as one of the premier experts in medical school admissions. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from [Columbia University](/org/columbia-university) in New York City with a Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering. He finished his degree with the highest GPA in the Civil Engineering major. He was accepted to three of the top ten medical schools in the country and chose to attend the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, where he graduated with research honors.

He then trained in medicine and surgery at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York and then was a Clinical Fellow at Harvard Medical School and resident at BIDMC/HMS. He then completed a Vascular and Interventional Radiology Fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital. Academically, he has presented his work at multiple national meetings, including SIR and RSNA, and has been published in multiple peer reviewed journals. He has a clinical interest in interventional radiology treatments for cancer patients, women and emergency situations.

Dr. Mehta is a practicing Interventional Radiologist specializing in minimally invasive endovascular and percutaneous procedures in order to eliminate cancer, pain, stop life threatening bleeding and more.

Sahil has been involved in admissions consulting and tutoring for years. As the founder of [MedSchoolCoach](/org/medschoolcoach), he has a hand in thousands of medical school applications. His experience helping applicants of all types navigate the admissions process is unparalleled.

Sahil Mehta

Dr. Lee specializes in BS/MD admissions and has been working with this unique population of applicants since 2010. After attending a prestigious boarding school for high school, she was accepted into seven combined bachelor-medical degree programs. [Northwestern University](/org/northwestern-university)âs highly selective Honors Program in Medical Education (HPME). She graduated Summa Cum Laude from [Northwestern University](/org/northwestern-university) in Evanston, IL with a Bachelors of Arts in Biology. Afterwards, she graduated from [Northwestern University](/org/northwestern-university)âs Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, IL.Â  She then completed a dermatology residency at [Brown University](/org/brown-university), and served as Chief Resident during her final year. She completed her fellowship in Photomedicine, Lasers, and Cosmetics at Massachusetts General Hospital and was a Clinical Fellow at Harvard Medical School. Academically, she has over 100 peer-reviewed publications and lectures internationally on photomedicine and dermatology. She has several research grants supporting her work in developing cutting-edge technologies for treatment of skin cancer.

Dr. Lee also has an interest in medical education, and dedicates time to medical student and resident teaching, serving as an editor to the First Aid (First Aid for the USMLE Step 1, First Aid for the USMLE Step 2 CS [senior editor], First Aid for USMLE Step 2 CK, and First Aid for the USMLE Step 3 [senior editor]) book series.

Dr. Lee is a board-certified dermatologist, practicing in an academic setting as an Assistant Professor of Dermatology at [Brown University](/org/brown-university).

Kachiu Lee

Dr. Choo earned her undergraduate degree from [UC Berkeley](/org/uc-berkeley) where she majored in molecular and cell biology and minored in Spanish. Before going to medical school she spent one year teaching MCAT classes. She went on to complete her medical degree at UC San Diego and pediatric residency at Children's Hospital of Orange County (CHOC Children's).

After graduating from residency, Dr. Choo became a Chief Resident and Associate Program Director at the CHOC Children's and UC Irvine residency programs. During that time, she served on the admissions committee where she reviewed hundreds of applications. She has also worked with the UC Irvine medical school in teaching students and preparing them for the application process.

Dr. Choo is currently a board certified pediatrician at CHOC Children's outpatient clinic, where she regularly works with and teaches residents in her practice.

Susan Choo

Dr. Scott-Hawkins graduated from UCLA with a Bachelor of Arts degree in World Arts and Cultures with a concentration in dance and a minor in pre-medicine. While applying to medical school, she took a year off to work as a Clinical Research Coordinator at Charles Drew University where she and her team published their work in the Journal of Investigative Medicine. Dr. Scott-Hawkins was accepted into the [Wright State University](/org/wright-state-university-main-campus) Boonshoft School of Medicine Physician Leadership Development Dual Degree Program (PLDP) through which she completed an MD and MPH degree. She served as the PLDP Graduate Assistant and Executive Council Chair. She also served on the admissions committee for [Wright State University](/org/wright-state-university-main-campus) and the PLDP program. She also served on a Preventive Medicine Faculty Member Search Committee and the [Department of Pediatrics](/org/department-of-pediatrics) Chair Search Committee through which she provided recommendations to the medical school Dean for selection of a new hire.

While in medical school, Dr. Scott-Hawkins served as a mentor to pre-medical students through the Student National Medical Association (SNMA) and as a peer tutor. She is currently completing residency training in Psychiatry at Los Angeles County + [University of Southern California](/org/university-of-southern-california) (LAC+USC) and will begin fellowship training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Harbor UCLA in July 2019. She serves on the LAC+USC Psychiatry Residency Program admissions committee annually.

Jasmin Scott-Hawkins

Dr. Katzen graduated from [Georgetown University](/org/georgetown-university) with a BS in Biology and earned his medical degree from The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. He continued his medical internship and residency in Internal Medicine at GW, as well as completed a fellowship in Hematology/Oncology.

Dr. Katzen is an oncologist-hematologist and has served as the Chief of Oncology at both Greater Southeast Community and Southern Maryland Hospital ,as well as the president of Oncology-Hematology Associates in Maryland.

He currently serves as a Clinical Professor at George Washington Hospital. He was an active member of the George Washington University School of Medicine admissions committee prior to joining [MedSchoolCoach](/org/medschoolcoach). He currently serves as a consultant to pharmaceutical companies and other health related companies.

He has been recognized as a Top Doctor by US News and World Report and Washingtonian Magazine. He is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American Society of Hematology and the Southern Association of Oncology. He joins [MedSchoolCoach](/org/medschoolcoach) enthusiastic to help premedical students follow their dreams of becoming physicians.

Harvey Katzen

Rose graduated Summa Cum Laude from the [University of Illinois at Chicago](/org/university-of-illinois-at-chicago) in 2017 as part of the combined BS/MD program. She graduated with dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Biological Sciences and Statistics. During her undergraduate career, she was actively involved in leadership roles and conducted clinical research on the effect of islet cell transplant on kidney function. Rose completed a Master of Science Degree in Biostatistics at Harvard T. H. Chan School of Public Health in 2019. She also volunteers with the Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program, competes as part of the Harvard Taekwondo Team, and enjoys hip hop dance.

Rose has extensive teaching experience as a Teaching Assistant for several graduate- and undergraduate-level Statistics courses at Harvard. She is very excited to work with the [MedSchoolCoach](/org/medschoolcoach) team as a MCAT tutor to help students achieve success on the MCAT!

Rose Huang

Michelle completed her Bachelors of Business Administration with a concentration in Management/Human Resources at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Shortly after graduating, she pursued a career in hospitality, but this quickly changed when her passion for maintaining a healthy lifestyle lead her to work in the health and fitness industry. While connecting individuals to their health goals, she realized she wanted to have more of an impact on our future health providers. As Director of Enrollment, Michelle leads the team of Enrollment Managers who serve as consultants for parents and students, educating them on the best programs and connecting them with expert physician advisors and tutors to ensure a successful journey on their paths towards becoming physicians.

Michelle White

Dr. Marinelli graduated magna cum laude from [California State University, San Marcos](/org/california-state-university-san-marcos) with a bachelor’s degree in Biology. While attending school, she worked for a neurosurgeon where she led clinical trials, taught biology as a supplemental instruction leader. Dr. Marinelli was accepted to multiple medical schools and attended the University of California, Irvine School of Medicine where she served on the admissions committee and interviewed many applicants. In medical school, she met her future husband and [MedSchoolCoach](/org/medschoolcoach) advisor, Dr. David Flick. After medical school, both Dr. Marinelli and her husband attended family medicine residency in Hawaii where she also served on the residency admissions committee. After her son was born, she decided to step away from clinical medicine and joined the [MedSchoolCoach](/org/medschoolcoach) team. Since that time, she has mentored and assisted hundreds of students in the medical school admissions process and brings a wealth of experience serving on both medical school and residency admission committees.

Dr. Marinelli is the Director of Advisors at [MedSchoolCoach](/org/medschoolcoach) where she continues to advise applicants but also serves to oversee all of the advising applicants. She is excited to continue to provide guidance to students while spending quality time with her son.

Renee Marinelli

Joel was born and raised in East Los Angeles County, California. He graduated with honors from the [University of California, Irvine](/org/university-of-california-irvine) with a degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. During his time at the [University of California, Irvine](/org/university-of-california-irvine) he participated in peer-tutoring, mentorship programs, and basic science research and he served as a teaching assistant for upper division biology courses. He received multiple awards for excellence in tutoring and research. After graduating, he worked aboard an ambulance as an emergency medical technician in Los Angeles County prior to matriculating to the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine.

In medical school, he continued to teach, mentor, and advise undergraduate and medical students. He spent a year between his third and fourth year of medical school as a [National Institutes of Health](/org/national-institutes-of-health) TL1 Clinical and Translational Research Fellow. He received a 266 on Step 1 and 265 on Step 2 CK and he scored in the 90th percentiles on all of his shelf exams. He also received honors in nearly all of his clinical rotations.

Collectively, he has been teaching a wide range of subjects for more than ten years and has experience tutoring for several board exams. He is passionate about teaching and strongly believes that with hard work, good direction, and resilience every medical student has the opportunity to succeed and pursue their dreams.

He is currently a Vascular Surgery resident at the University of California, San Francisco in 2019. He is interested in academic vascular surgery and plans to continue being involved in medical education. In his free time, he enjoys running, swimming, weightlifting, and exploring San Francisco with his friends and family.

Joel Ramirez

James completed his Bachelors of Science in Biology at the University of Massachusetts with a focus on Medicine. Following his graduation, he worked in Biotechnology before pivoting into the field of academic advising and college counseling. As a Pre-Med student himself with limited support and guidance, he understands the value of mentorship and the peace of mind that an expert can provide families. When you’re able to navigate the process with confidence, you’re not making mistakes that are prematurely closing off future opportunities. In his role as Enrollment Manager, James oversees the onboarding process for [MedSchoolCoach](/org/medschoolcoach) clients and coordinates with physician advisors and tutors across the team to ensure each student has the best fit.

Dr. Smith graduated Cum Laude from [East Mississippi Community College](/org/east-mississippi-community-college) with an Associate of Arts in Biology and BS in Biology from Mississippi University for Women. He earned an Associate, Bachelor, and Master’s degree all within 3 years of graduating high school. Throughout his tenure at each school he tutored many students on various subjects such as Algebra, Trigonometry, Biology, and Chemistry.

Dr. Smith attended medical school at Ross University School of Medicine. While at RUSM, he volunteered with many student organizations and was a strong advocate for undergraduate mentoring. He graduated from RUSM in the Spring of 2018 and successfully matched into Internal Medicine Residency at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth, MS. Dr. Smith graduated with a Master’s in Business Administration in the Fall of 2018 and was named Intern of the Year in his residency program. Dr. Smith has a nonprofit organization called the Inspirational MD where he mentors many residents, medical students, undergraduates, and high school students. He has assisted and hosted many health fairs and community events. Dr. Smith is currently a Cardiology fellow at the [University of Mississippi](/org/university-of-mississippi) Medical Center and has plans to subspecialize in Structural Heart Disease.

Dantwan Smith

Samuel grew up in a small town in southern Alabama. Upon graduating high school, he had
a strong desire to travel, so he attended [McGill University](/org/mcgill-university) in Montreal, Canada for two years,
where he developed a tremendous interest in the medical field. After his second year of
university, he attended a summer internship at a hospital in Norway. While there, he learned
about medical school opportunities offered in Europe. That summer, he decided to start
medical school in Budapest, Hungary.

Currently, Sam is entering his fifth year of medical school. Throughout his training, he has tutored subjects, including chemistry, cell biology, neuroanatomy, and pathology. He has also served as a teaching assistant for two years in anatomy, embryology, and histology. He earned a 264 on the Step 1 and has maintained honors throughout his medical school education. It is his belief that every student has the ability to excel in medical school, and that it is the goal of the tutor to help students tap into their inner potential. He is involved in vascular surgery research and has aspirations to enter the field of vascular surgery, interventional radiology, or cardiology. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, cooking, and any opportunity to get out and see some nature.

Samuel Booth

Dr. Bradshaw earned his Bachelors in Business Administration from [Baylor University](/org/baylor-university) and Masters of Science in Accountancy (Taxation) from the [University of Houston](/org/university-of-houston). He was a CPA with Ernst & Young in Houston before attending medical school. He graduated from the University of Texas Medical School at Galveston and completed his residency at the McLennan County Family Medicine Program in Waco and also completed a fellowship in Academic Family Medicine. He is board-certified in Family Medicine and is a Fellow of the [American Academy of Family Physicians](/org/american-academy-of-family-physicians).

After completing his medical education, Dr. Bradshaw was in private practice for several years, then became an assistant professor at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas, where he was involved in a number of clinical leadership positions in addition to his teaching and patient care activities. He also served on the medical school admissions committee at UT Southwestern.

For the past 20 years, Dr. Bradshaw has been a student health physician at [Baylor University](/org/baylor-university) (until his recent retirement) and has worked with many pre-med students. Dr. Bradshaw is an adjunct instructor in the Robbins MBA Healthcare Program at Baylor’s Hankamer School of Business. He also teaches research and evidence-based medicine at the Faculty Development Center at the [University of North Texas](/org/university-of-north-texas) Health Science Center in Fort Worth.

Ron Bradshaw

In 2016, after working as a Medical Scribe Manager for [ScribeAmerica](/org/scribeamerica), Alex transitioned into the education sector as a 99th-percentile professional MCAT tutor with a score of 522.

As a tutor, Alex fosters success by getting into the “mind of the test maker,” and combines it with a very detailed, personalized approach to each of the 4 sections that make up the MCAT. Alex’s easy-going personality and experience with the MCAT studying process allows him to help his students overcome test anxiety and avoid burnout.

Alex Starks

Tracy Lampl has worked in education for 25 years. After completing a Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology and Education from [Boston University](/org/boston-university) with honors, Tracy has directed numerous Student Services Departments and has served as the chief Student Affairs Officer. She has extensive experience advising students in their career paths including working with students in the areas of pre-law, pre-med, communications, media and the arts among others. She has also advised international students and was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to study higher education in Germany and Poland.

Tracy Lampl

Dr. Newsha Lajevardi is a board certified dermatologist who practices medical, pediatric and cosmetic dermatology, cutaneous surgery, and laser surgery.
She completed her bachelor’s degree in psychology from [Northwestern University](/org/northwestern-university) and then went on to complete her master’s degree in medical sciences at the [Boston University School of Medicine](/org/boston-university-school-of-medicine). During her time at [Boston University](/org/boston-university) she completed coursework alongside medical students and intricately learned about the medical school admissions process through extensive mentorship with the [Boston University](/org/boston-university) deans of admission. Additionally, she was an academic tutor for other medical and dental students in physiology, endocrinology, and immunology. Before attending medical school, she conducted translational medicine research at the [Boston University](/org/boston-university) department of dermatology followed by clinical research at the [Boston University](/org/boston-university) section of endocrinology.

Given her nontraditional path to medical school, Dr. Lajevardi has extensive experience with the unique challenges of post-baccalaureate and nontraditional applicants to medical school. Even before joining Medschoolcoach she was closely involved with essay editing and interview preparation for family and friends applying to medical school.

Dr. Lajevardi received her medical degree from [Michigan State University](/org/michigan-state-university) College of Human Medicine. She completed her internship in internal medicine at Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester, Massachusetts. Finally, she completed her dermatology residency at the prestigious [Brown University](/org/brown-university) Department of Dermatology. Following her training she joined the department at Brown as an attending dermatologist and Assistant Professor of Dermatology.

During her time at [Brown University](/org/brown-university), she was highly involved in the application and interview process for prospective dermatology residents. She also serves as a mentor to [Michigan State University](/org/michigan-state-university) medical students interested applying to the field of dermatology. Additionally, she has lectured to other physicians at both regional and national meetings and has been published in major medical journals.  As a native to Miami and after spending many years enduring harsh Midwestern and New England winters, Dr. Lajevardi recently returned back home to South Florida with her family and practices in Fort Lauderdale.

Newsha Lajevardi

Katelyn is a Memphis native trying with limited success to survive the harsh winters of Minnesota. She graduated in 2014 from the [Marquette University](/org/marquette-university) Honor’s program with degrees in biomedical science and theology. While at Marquette, she was one of the first freshmen to receive the University Award for Student Excellence, the highest academic distinction given to students, for her work in creating a new division of the Honor’s curriculum. After graduating, she chose to take time off before beginning her medical career to assist other future doctors along their journeys.

Katelyn is [MedSchoolCoach](/org/medschoolcoach)’s MCAT content manager, and has now been tutoring MCAT students for nearly six years and has helped over three hundred students achieve elite scores and be accepted into their top choice medical programs. In her time as a tutor she has also helped write many of the most widely used practice exams in the industry, and her work as a content creator has enriched her own knowledge of the MCAT and her MCAT pedagogy. Katelyn excels not only at teaching the full range of MCAT sciences, but also at helping students master the critical thinking and reasoning skills necessary for elite MCAT scores.

Katelyn Sawyer

Dr. Gillihan spent most of his time growing up focusing on athletics and working towards his goal of becoming a professional baseball player. However, plans quickly changed for him during his second year of college when he suffered an injury that forced him to rethink his career goals. It was at this time that he decided to pursue a career in medicine. After graduating from [Missouri State University](/org/missouri-state-university-springfield), he spent time in translational research labs at [Baylor College of Medicine](/org/baylor-college-of-medicine) and the University of Kansas School of Medicine, where he eventually attended medical school. Dr. Gillihan continued his scientific endeavors during medical school, where he was awarded an Alpha Omega Alpha Student Research Fellowship and a grant from the American Society of Nephrology for his work in the lab. Dr. Gillihan is also an accomplished medical writer, having successfully published over 15 manuscripts in peer-reviewed journals, all while continuing to exceed academically, graduating near the top of his medical school class and matching into his top choice residency program in Dermatology at the [University of Florida](/org/university-of-florida) where he is currently located.

During his time in medical school, Dr. Gillihan was intricately involved with the admissions process and advising of pre-medical students, using his unique background to help numerous students gain acceptance into medical schools across the country, which he has continued to do here at [MedSchoolCoach](/org/medschoolcoach). Dr. Gillihan is passionate about working with college students who share in his passion for becoming a physician, no matter what background they come from. He is excited to be able to continue to use his life experiences and unique path to medicine to help others achieve their goals.

Ryan Gillihan

Kathryn graduated from the [University of Miami](/org/university-of-miami) in 2018 with degrees in Biochemistry & Nutrition and Neuroscience. She has worked on several research projects, including a biochemistry publication and psychology research with special populations. Her experience translates by helping students to gain critical thinking skills and feel confident with difficult science passages on the MCAT, which are often adapted from scientific journal articles.

At the [University of Miami](/org/university-of-miami), Kathryn worked as a peer tutor for science and math subjects. As an MCAT tutor, she focuses on each student’s own strengths and passions to encourage enthusiasm and active engagement with the subject matter. By creating exciting and relatable ways to memorize material and master critical thinking, she fosters an engaging learning experience during her sessions. She also takes special care to help students find an optimal balance between studying and personal fulfillment during the difficult time of MCAT preparation.

Kathryn Henshaw

Dr. Lipsit graduated from [Yeshiva University](/org/yeshiva-university) in New York and obtained his medical degree from [Georgetown University](/org/georgetown-university) in Washington, D.C. Following a residency in Diagnostic Radiology at The George Washington University Medical Center as Chief Resident, he pursued a fellowship in Diagnostic Ultrasound at The Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions. He then returned to The George Washington University Hospital to become the Director of Diagnostic Ultrasound. Dr. Lipsit is Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology and for 20 years served as President of Washington Radiology Associates, the largest provider of outpatient medical imaging in the Washington metropolitan area.

Dr. Lipsit has published articles in peer reviewed medical journals and texts and has lectured both domestically and abroad. Dr. Lipsit retired from active clinical practice in 2016 and is currently an Associate Clinical Professor of Radiology at The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. He serves as an educational consultant to multiple organizations and has been on the clinical faculty and a member of the [Virginia Commonwealth University](/org/virginia-commonwealth-university) School of Medicine. Dr. Lipsit has been involved in admissions consulting for the past few years, joining the [MedSchoolCoach](/org/medschoolcoach) team in 2015. He brings with him a wealth of experience and tremendous enthusiasm to help applicants gain admission to medical school and become physician leaders.

Ed Lipsit

Maureen Scudder

Tyler was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. He attended the [University of San Diego](/org/university-of-san-diego) and graduated magna cum laude with a BA is Biology and minor in Biochemistry. He worked as a medical scribe for one year prior to attending medical school at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra / Northwell in Long Island, NY. He has performed above the 95th percentile for USMLE step 1 and USMLE step 2 CK, and scored above the 99th percentile in 5/6 of his shelf exams. Tyler is excited to empower other medical students to achieve their dreams by scoring their best on board exams and shelf exams. He is currently doing a year of clinical research at Massachusetts General Hospital in Orthopedic Surgery in between his third and fourth year of medical school. In his free time, Tyler enjoys hiking, surfing, and skiing.

Tyler Humphrey

Dr. Lieberman holds degrees from [Cornell University](/org/cornell-university) and Georgetown University School of Medicine. Following a surgical internship in Santa Barbara, CA, and a public health residency, he practiced for 2 years in the National Health Service Corps. He completed a residency in urology at Georgetown and is Board Certified. He has had extensive experience preparing undergraduate students to interview for medical school.



Murray Lieberman

Whitney Enwemeka earned a BA in African American-Ethnic Studies at [California State University, Fullerton](/org/california-state-university-fullerton) and completed an MBA/MS in Social Entrepreneurship at the USC Marshall School of Business. After working as an Assistant Director of Undergraduate Admission at USC for six years, she founded a college admissions consultancy to help students navigate the college process. As a college admissions consultant, sheâs contributed to a #1 best-selling college admissions book, traveled to Southeast Asia as a college admissions expert to educate families on US colleges, was interviewed and featured in VoyageLA, and has served as a personal statement instructor for college admission prep camps at [UC Berkeley](/org/uc-berkeley) and USC. She is an IECA member and has presented at WACAC.

Jennifer Wyatt - Speegle

Dr. Yoediono graduated Cum Laude from [Yale University](/org/yale-university) with Honors in Psychology. He received his MD from the University of Rochester of Medicine and Dentistry and did his training at the Harvard Longwood Psychiatry Residency Program. Following his residency, he received an MBA at the Fuqua School of Business at [Duke University](/org/duke-university). Afterwards, he worked in various capacities at [Duke University](/org/duke-university): Senior Research Fellow at the Center for Research on Prospective Health Care – a center he helped evolve with the Chancellor Emeritus, Associate Director of the Master of Management Studies Program at the Fuqua School of Business and Special Assistant to [Duke University](/org/duke-university)’s Chancellor for Health Affairs. In addition to serving as a [Duke University](/org/duke-university) pre-major advisor for freshman and sophomores, he was an admissions interviewer for [Duke University](/org/duke-university) School of Medicine, the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry and the Harvard Longwood Psychiatry Residency Program. He also advised many Duke premeds in terms of medical school applications, essays and interviews. He co-authored papers that were published in The New England Journal of Medicine and Academic Medicine.

Ziggy Yoediono

Dr. Flick graduated Magna Cum Laude from [Loyola Marymount University](/org/loyola-marymount-university) in Los Angeles, California with a BS in biology where he was heavily involved in high school and university level tutoring. He then moved to Chiang Mai, Thailand where he worked as a high school mathematics teacher at an international baccalaureate school. In the two years prior to starting medical school, he volunteered in seven different countries throughout Asia with international medical aid programs. Dr. Flick attended medical school at UC Irvine after receiving the Army health professions scholarship. He served on the admissions committee for four years including working on the selection committee board. He completed a family medicine residency program in Oahu, HI and served on the residency admissions committee. He is board certified in family medicine and now works as a flight surgeon for the Army.

David Flick

Originally hailing from southeastern Massachusetts, Carma completed her BA degree in Sociology at [Brown University](/org/brown-university) and her Master’s in Higher Education Administration at the University of Michigan. Carma’s previous professional experience includes undergraduate academic advising, and working in various non-profit organizations with a focus on counseling, mentoring, and supporting students throughout their academic journeys. She has a particular interest in issues of diversity and inclusion in higher education. In her role as Student Success Manager at [MedSchoolCoach](/org/medschoolcoach), Carma works extensively with our MCAT and college advising students, as well as their parents, to ensure a smooth journey throughout the tutoring and advising process.

Carma Van Allen

Kelleen began her career in Minnesota in the Hospitality industry. She proceeded to help open and convert two hotels, while mentoring several colleagues along the way. The joy that Kelleen had from helping others lead her to medical school admissions consulting. In her role as Enrollment Manager, Kelleen assists in the onboarding process for clients, ensuring that each client knows [MedSchoolCoach](/org/medschoolcoach) is here to help them through the tutoring and application process.

Craig Goldstein

Ken graduated from [UC Berkeley](/org/uc-berkeley) with a Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering and a Bachelor of Arts in Molecular and Cell Biology. He was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Tau Beta Pi as well as the recipient of the Jeffrey A. Winer Memorial Prize, the award given to the top graduating senior in the Neurobiology emphasis of the Molecular and Cell Biology major. Ken is now pursuing his Ph.D. in Neuroscience from [Harvard University](/org/harvard).

Ken is nationally recognized as a premier MCAT mind. He has worked with thousands of undergraduate students as a graduate teaching assistant and MCAT instructor/tutor for the [Princeton Review](/org/princeton-review). At [Princeton Review](/org/princeton-review), Ken was the only tutor certified in all subjects, was one of the highest rated MCAT tutors ever and was a teacher trainer for [Princeton Review](/org/princeton-review)’s MCAT division. Additionally, Ken worked to found [Magoosh](/org/magoosh)’s MCAT division. He has written content for dozens of MCAT books and guides.

Ken’s track record for improving student scores on the MCAT is exceptional. Scores of his students have achieved MCAT scores >40 on the old exam and >520 on the current exam.
