Edward Farrugia has a strong background in IT and project management. Edward started their career as a Programmer Analyst at MITTS Ltd in 1996, and then moved on to become a System Analyst and Team Lead at Safeway (via Crimsonwing) from 1998 to 2001. At British Airways, they worked as a Project Manager and Business Analyst from 2001 to 2003, managing a revenue recovery project and implementing new service offerings. From 2003 to 2007, Edward worked at WNS (Airline Industry) as an Account Manager and Business Development Manager, overseeing service delivery and managing IT system implementations. Edward then joined Lloyd's Register as a Project Manager from 2007 to 2010, where they successfully implemented various software solutions and managed source code migration. From 2010 to 2011, they worked as the Head of Malta Sales at Crimsonwing. Since 2011, Edward has been the CIO at Medserv plc, where they have been responsible for the ICT function within the company and has achieved notable successes, such as winning a $31 million client contract and increasing revenue for a Solar Farm.
Edward Farrugia attended Stella Maris College from 1980 to 1992. Edward then enrolled at St. Aloysius College from 1992 to 1994. Lastly, they studied at the University of Malta from 1994 to 1996. No degrees or fields of study were provided for any of these educational experiences.
