Erin C. Agelakopoulos

Erin Agelakopoulos is the VP of Operational Communications at MedStar Health. Erin has over fifteen years of experience in communications and public relations, with a focus on the healthcare, financial, and media industries.

Erin began their career as a Communications Specialist at Nationwide Financial in 1999. In 2000, they moved to Nationwide Insurance, where they served as a Senior Communications Specialist for five years. In 2005, they left Nationwide to join Warschawski as a Senior Associate.

In 2006, Erin joined Imre Communications as a Senior Account Executive. At Imre, they managed accounts for Fortune 100 companies with a focus on the insurance and healthcare industries. In 2008, they left Imre to join Planit as an Account Supervisor.

At Planit, Erin managed and executed integrated interactive, marketing, and public relations strategies with top-tier media outlets. Erin supervised staff and accounts specializing in the healthcare, financial and media industries.

In their current role as VP of Operational Communications at MedStar Health, Erin is responsible for leading the organization’s communications efforts. Erin is a strategic thinker who has a proven track record of success in executing integrated communications campaigns.

Erin C. Agelakopoulos has a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from The Ohio State University and an MBA in Business from Franklin University.
