Pooyan Abbasi

Pooyan Abbasi is an accomplished professional in the field of biomechanics and medical research, currently serving as the Director of Medical Research Lab at MedStar Health since May 2019. In this role, Pooyan designs and supervises research studies, develops algorithms for biomechanical testing, manages a team conducting numerous studies annually, and coordinates educational sessions. Previously, Pooyan held positions such as Associate Director of Biomechanics Lab and Biomechanical Research Engineer, with responsibilities including experimental design, data analysis, and collaboration on research publications.
