Thomas Mahoney has a long and varied career in healthcare and emergency services. Thomas began their professional career in 1998 as an Infantryman in the US Army, and then in 2001 became a BLS Instructor for the American Heart Association. In 2006, they became a Training Instructor for the US Government. In 2009, they joined Acadian Ambulance as a Paramedic, with responsibilities that included assessing medical and trauma patients, performing advanced life saving techniques, and tracking and auditing controlled substances. Thomas also served as a preceptor and member of the Critical Support Intervention Team. In the same year, they became a Firefighter/Medic for the Gardendale Volunteer Fire Department. In 2017, they joined the Indian Harbor Volunteer Fire Department as a Medical Officer and Pecan Plantation EMS as a Paramedic. In 2018, they joined North Bosque EMS as a Paramedic and in 2019, they joined MedStar Mobile Healthcare as a Critical Care Paramedic.
Thomas Mahoney's education history includes completing a Bachelor's Degree in Infrastructure Assurance from The University of Texas at San Antonio between 2012 and 2016. Thomas also completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) in Theatre - Production from the University of Houston between 2016 and 2017. In 2018, they completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts - BFA in General Studies from Tarrant County College. Prior to that, they attended Barstow Community College between 2003 and 2004, and Affton High School between 1994 and 1998, where they earned a General Studies High School/Secondary Diplomas and Certificates.
