Deepannita Pakrashi

Deepannita Pakrashi has been working in the medical coding and billing field since 2011. Deepannita began their career as a Health Unit Coordinator at Woodland Nursing Home, where they worked for seven years. In 2018, they joined HGS INTERNATIONAL SERVICES PRIVATE LIMITED as a Senior Medical Coder. In this role, they correctly coded and billed medical claims for various hospital and nursing facilities, interacted with physicians and other healthcare staff to ask questions regarding patient services, and reviewed outpatient records and interpreted documentation to identify all diagnoses and procedures. In 2021, they began working for LexiCode as a Medical Coder ED Lexicode and for Medsurant Health as a Medical Billing and Coding Specialist.

Deepannita Pakrashi completed their Bachelor of Science in Genetics from the University of Kalyani between 2005 and 2008. Deepannita then went on to pursue a Master of Science in Biotechnology from Trident Academy of Creative Technology (TACT), Bhubaneswar, which they completed in 2010. In November 2020, they obtained a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification from AAPC.
