Nicole DeKort serves as the President and CEO of Medtech Canada since February 2012, overseeing government relations and advocacy within the medical technology industry across Canada. Previously, DeKort held various significant roles within Medtech Canada, including Vice-President of Ontario & Marketing and Vice-President of Government Affairs. DeKort's extensive experience includes leadership positions in governmental offices such as the Ontario Minister of Health and Long-Term Care, and the Office of the Premier of Ontario. DeKort's career in political operations began in the Legislative Assembly of Ontario and includes roles in the Ontario Liberal Party and Southam Inc. DeKort holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Wilfrid Laurier University.
