Harold Mondschein

CEO & Founder at MedTel.com

Harold Mondschein has more than 20 years of leadership experience in the healthcare sector, including direct patient care, sales, and consulting for health systems and manufacturers. This blend of experiences and his deep understanding of the surgical care process uncovered a need for innovation that is plagued by manual-based processes and a lack of proactivity.

Incorporating patient outcomes and experiences as Medtel’s guiding principle, Harold applied the knowledge and expertise that he acquired as a neurological specialist in physical therapy and the advantages of an interdisciplinary approach to patient care. It was at NYU Medical Center, and then later successfully launching a state-of-the-art neurosurgery rehabilitation program at Beth Israel Medical Center’s Institute for Neurology and Neurosurgery that care coordination and a systematic approach to surgical care was engrained.

Prior to Medtel, Mr. Mondschein was a Managing Partner at Proficient Surgical Equipment, a leading medical device distribution company specializing in innovative technologies in surgical care.

As a result of Mr. Mondschein’s blend of medical technology understanding, along with his experiences and knowledge of the healthcare industry, he has become a valued speaker at symposiums, conferences, and universities on the topics of healthcare technologies, value-based care, same-day surgery, and entrepreneurship.
