Miguel Rendon has held various roles in the IT and construction industries since 1989. Miguel began their career as the Owner of The Rendon Group, LLC, a Certified General Contractor, from 1989 to 1997. During this time, they were responsible for new construction, renovations, and construction management, building to customer specifications and designs. From 1997 to 1998, they held the role of Engineering Technical Support at the University of South Florida and Plant Services Co-Op at Tropicana. From 1998 to 2006, they worked at Teltronics as a Sales Engineer in the Intelligent Systems Management Sales Group and a Customer Service Engineer, providing Tier-2 Customer Support and Onsite training for client-server applications. From 2006 to 2008, they were an IT Analyst at CoAdvantage. From 2010 to 2011, they were an Independent Business Owner at The Rendon Group, Inc. Finally, from 2011 to 2014, they were an IT Managed Services Consultant at BI-IT Consulting, providing IT Services and partnering with local companies to provide clients with a "One Stop" IT experience. Miguel is currently a Sales Engineer / Trainer/ IT Consultant at Medtel Communications.

Miguel Rendon began their educational journey at Palmetto High School. Miguel then attended State College of Florida-Manatee-Sarasota, where they earned an Associate in Arts in Pre Engineering in 1993. Miguel then attended University of South Florida, where they studied Computer Information Systems from 1995 to 1998. In addition to their formal education, Miguel has obtained several certifications, including a Coredial Technical Certification TC1609eA from CoreDial, LLC in 2016, Systematic Foundation from RedRock Leadership in 2015, 20-20 Technician Training from MedTel Services, LLC in 2014, Certified General Contractor from the State of Florida in 1989, CJIS from the Florida Dept of Law Enforcement in 2011, and Microsoft Certified Professional from Microsoft.
