Matthew Grist

Matthew Grist currently serves as the Research and Innovation Manager at Medtrade Products Limited, a position held since January 2016, where responsibilities include directing R&D activities and managing strategic projects within the Trauma, US Hospital, and New technologies divisions. Prior to this role, Matthew worked at AstraZeneca from January 2004 to January 2016, holding positions as a Senior Research Scientist and an Isotope Chemist, contributing significantly to drug discovery projects and synthesizing novel compounds. Matthew holds a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry and an MSci in Chemistry from the University of Nottingham, along with relevant A-Level qualifications from Wisbech Grammar School.
