Marina Melo Pires has a wealth of experience in software development, beginning with their role as a Trainee at Clicksoft in 2003. Marina then worked as a Junior Software Developer at M.I. Montreal Informática in 2005, followed by a similar role at Devices in 2004. In 2006, they became a Software Developer at Atos and then a Senior Software Developer at Sonda Procwork in 2008. From 2011 to 2016, Marina worked as a Senior Software Developer at Globosat, where they acted as lead developer on the Rio 2016 Olympics project and built new EPG APIs and endpoints for the Olympics projects. In 2016, they joined Medtrics Lab LLC as a Software Developer.

Marina Melo Pires obtained their Bachelor's degree in Computer Systems Analysis/Analyst from Estácio in 2004. Marina then went on to earn their Master's degree in Clustering Algorithms, Text Mining from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro in 2008.
