Dan Glumac

Reliability Engineer at Medtronic

Dan Glumac is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in medical devices and electrical engineering. Currently serving as a Reliability Engineer at Medtronic since 2022 and as an Adjunct Teaching Faculty in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Minnesota since 2016, Dan instructs students in various topics including circuit analysis and power systems. Previously, Dan worked at the University of Minnesota Earl E. Bakken Medical Devices Center from 2016 to 2022, where efforts were led to develop biofilm prevention technologies and secure substantial development funding for innovative medical devices. With a solid foundation in engineering obtained through a Ph.D., MS, and bachelor's degree from the University of Minnesota, Dan has also held roles at Envoy Medical, Polar Semiconductor, Avanti Optics, and Seagate Technology, contributing significantly to product development, engineering processes, and innovation in the medical and semiconductor fields.
