Daniel Ward

Daniel Ward holds extensive experience in systems architecture and engineering within the medical technology field, primarily at Medtronic, where Daniel has served as Systems Architecture Director since June 2018. In this role, Daniel leads a team focused on developing architectures that align with cross-business ecosystem needs and product roadmaps. Previously, as Systems Engineering Director for the Lung Health business, Daniel guided R&D efforts for minimally invasive lung diagnosis and treatment solutions. Daniel's career at Medtronic began in 1997, spanning various roles such as Senior Design Quality Engineering Manager and Software Engineering Manager, where Daniel led numerous teams in delivering innovative software solutions and enhancing product quality. Educational qualifications include an MS in Management of Technology from the University of Minnesota and a Design Thinking Bootcamp from Stanford University, among other credentials.
