Elizabeth Levasseur

Elizabeth Levasseur is a seasoned mechanical engineer with extensive experience in design and development across various industries. Currently serving as a Senior Principal Mechanical Design Engineer at Medtronic since January 2019, Elizabeth leads a team focused on creating portable CT scanners. Previously, Elizabeth held the position of Principal Mechanical Engineer at Motion Design Solutions, specializing in automation systems and custom machine designs since February 2009. Elizabeth's career also includes roles such as Senior Mechanical Engineer at DxTech, managing design teams for Point-Of-Care diagnostic equipment, and Mechanical Engineer at GT Solar Incorporated, where automation equipment for the solar industry was developed. With earlier positions as a Mechanical Designer in the semiconductor industry and experience as a Test Technician in ophthalmic laser systems, Elizabeth has a comprehensive background in both engineering design and testing. Elizabeth graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Lowell, completing studies between 1997 and 2006.
