Gauthier Gras

Gauthier Gras is an experienced professional in software and systems engineering, currently serving as Director at Medtronic since April 2021. Previously, Gauthier held key positions at Touch Surgery, including Lead Systems Engineer and Senior Research Scientist, following a PhD in surgical robotics from Imperial College London. Gauthier's contributions at Imperial included managing a new laboratory for augmented reality and coordinating software development for a European research project. Gauthier co-founded Precision Robotics, focusing on medical robots for minimally invasive surgery, and has interned at EDF and LOMA, gaining experience in engineering design and software development. Gauthier holds advanced degrees from prestigious institutions, including a Master of Research in Medical Robotics and a Diplôme from École Normale Supérieure Paris-Saclay.
