Janet Nurnberg

Janet Nurnberg is an experienced professional in continuous improvement and engineering, currently serving as Principal Continuous Improvement Lead Engineer at Medtronic since January 2020. In this role, Janet leads value stream initiatives focused on operational excellence, manages Lean transformation projects, and facilitates training in DMAIC and Lean methodologies. Prior to Medtronic, Janet was a Program Manager and Engineering Instructor at Dunwoody College of Technology, overseeing competency assessments, mentoring instructors, and managing engineering curriculum changes. Janet's earlier experience as a Senior Industrial Engineer at Boston Scientific included leading process improvement teams and executing training programs, contributing to significant efficiency gains. Educational qualifications include a Master's of Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of Arizona.
